RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS HOW YOU WILL FULFIL YOUR POTENTIAL Colleagues in the group are expected to possess and develop deep knowledge of a full range of investment banking products and industry sub-sectors. It is the general practice of the group to have them work across a number of sub-sectors to gain a broad knowledge base and wide exposure to different clients and senior bankers. Executive Directors generally play a senior role on their assigned portfolio of clients. Responsibilities can include: - Creating and analysing financial models; performing scenario analyses and tests to examine the effects of client alternatives - Organising and preparing presentations, which explain industry trends, discuss client options, and recommend strategies to meet client goals - Participating in and conduct due diligence sessions, a necessary component of financial transactions From maintaining client communication - Guiding clients, including companies, governments and private individuals, in their achieving their strategic and financial objectives - Structuring transactions and rive the entire transaction processes - Maintaining client communication SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES WE ARE LOOKING FOR - Strong academic record with Bachelor's level, equivalent or above in Finance, Economics or a related discipline required - Significant TMT/Industrial sector experience gained from working within investment banking/financial services industries required - Experience with deal origination/structuring and execution required - Strong client relationship management skills with client advisory experience required - Experience with preparation of financial models, fund-flow models, pricing models, merger models required - Familiarity with debt financing, staple financing, positioning, divestitures, M&A, bidding and negotiation processes required - Experience in leading/coordinating due-diligence processes, preparing marketing and board materials and documentation required - Experience with valuation analysis, pricing analysis, restructure analysis and fairness opinion required - Drive, enthusiasm, creativity and excellent interpersonal skills - Strong quantitative and technical abilities - Personal integrity, initiative and leadership qualities - Strong communications, multi-tasking and time management skills ABOUT GOLDMAN SACHS The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. is a leading global investment banking, securities and investment management firm that provides a wide range of financial services to a substantial and diversified client base that includes corporations, financial institutions, governments and individuals.
