A leading financial institution is offering an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to take on a role of Head of Compliance. This position offers the successful applicant an opportunity to work with regulators in the EMEA region as well as senior members of the compliance leadership team and business management through the EMEA region. Main duties of the role include the following: Supervise the regulatory compliance teams in EMEA and collaborate with other members of the compliance department in relation to compliance issues on global basis. Ensure the operations in EMEA comply with laws, rules and regulations. Sustain and develop strong day-to-day relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Report any regulatory changes and regulatory requirements to the Chief Compliance officer. Work closely with Global Head of Regulatory Affairs on the management of documentation for the regulators, while facilitate and support the regulatory examination and inspection process. Coordinate the response to EMEA regulatory exam findings. Coordinate the supervision of the EMEA based non-regulatory compliance team members with the global heads of those teams. Requirements from the candidate for this position: University Degree level. Legal qualification would be of an advantage. Experience of managing teams and coordinating globally across teams across business. Experience dealing with regulatory agencies and UK FCA. Organised, able to multi-task and meet tight deadlines. Strong time-management and communication skills. Experience in project work within compliance. Quick-learner and adaptable when it comes to learning new regulations.
