Finance and Systems Accountant

Interim Systems Accountant for an education trust based in central Manchester.

Your new company
Our client is a leading Multi Academy Trust that have recently changed their finance systems. The organisation has a clear plan for growth over the next two to four years.

Your new role
As the Interim Systems Accountant you will be responsible for managing the new finance system that has been recently been implemented and or developing the trusts finance systems to improve efficiency and consistency. Utilising your experience you will be improving the functionality of the current system and improving the reporting and streamlining projects that are involved with the finance system. You will work closely with the Head of Finance to understand financial processes in order to identify the functionality of the system. Maintaining and enhancing the Trust financial control environment through the use of the finance system is the objective to this role. This role will be required to travel to schools within the trust to provide system support and training for employees.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be suitably qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA or qualified by experience and have worked on various systems accountant projects. This is an interim role for a period of 6 months.


What you'll get in return
37.5 hour week + 6 months plus role
