The role, Assistant Accountant

Following some acquisitions and business successes the workload in the team has really picked up. There's a significant uplift of corporate credit card postings that need to be dealt with. This has had various knock-on effects including a backlog of accounts payable reconciliations. This backlog needs to be cleared and the accounts fully reconciled. This will initially involve posting of AP transactions, but the bulk of the work will then involve reconciling the employee AP accounts for corporate credit card and cash expense transactions.

Required Experience for the Assistant Accountant

This project will require demonstrable experience of balance sheet reconciliations and accounts payable/ general ledger transaction postings.

Required Skills And Competency for the Assistant Accountant

The successful candidate will need to be a self-starter with a strong work ethic, capable of taking the lead on this project after a period of initial training. The role would suit someone with at least 2-3 year's finance experience.

Duration and working arrangements

We estimate that the project will take around 3 months. The role is envisaged as being full-time and based in our London office.
