Job Details
As the Sole Accountant your main responsibility will be to bring the accounts in house and prevent use of an external accountancy practice.
Client Details
My client is a fast growing & unique property company based in London's west end.
Description
As the Sole Accountant your duties will include:
- Month end reporting through to Trial Balance
- Day to day Bookkeeping
- Processing VAT returns
- Day to day postings of supplier invoices
- Payments of subcontractors
- Rental account reconciliations
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Salaries and PAYE processing on a monthly and weekly basis
Profile
The ideal candidate will have the below qualities:
- AAT/ACCA/CIMA studier
- A minimum of 2 years working in a Sole Accountant/Finance Manager role
- Ideally have used Xero accounting software
- Have had sole ownership of processing VAT returns
- Ideally have had some exposure to payroll
- Be comfortable liaising/communicating with senior stakeholders
