Financial Accountant

Your new company
A London based travel company is looking for a financial accountant to come on board for 3 months to prepare IFRS consolidated accounts for the first time in the finance function.

Your new role
As the interim financial accountant, you will be stepping into a small finance function and preparing first time IFRS consolidated accounts for the group. You will report into the group financial accountant and prepare the accounts without requiring much hand-holding, however you will be supported by the team. Doing this should take about 1 month - and then you will be assisting the group accountant with statutory reporting and day to day accounting for the remainder of the 3 months.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a qualified accountant, have strong experience preparing IFRS consolidated accounts, be hands on within a small team and confident with your ability to quickly add value without much assistance. You should have prior knowledge of what first time IFRS consolidated accounts should look like.
