Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the company is looking for a Financial Accountant to drive the technical agenda across the business. This opportunity provides an excellent platform for a practice trained qualified finance professional looking for an opportunity within the Technology sector. The Role Preparing the financial accounts according to IFRS. Managing the implementation of new accounting standards. Preparing the monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations. Managing weekly cash flow forecasts, as well as monthly long-term cash flows. Preparing the VAT returns and related compliance reporting. Streamlining and improving various processes and reports. Liaising with the external auditors. Supporting the Financial Controller with ad-hoc projects. Relevant Experience Qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA). Excellent knowledge of IFRS. A structured and organised approach to work. A natural ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally. An inquisitive mind-set continually seeking process improvement. Good attention to detail and strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
