We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Accountant to join our growing Finance team. This role is focused on assisting the Finance team with the processing of all elements of Quantuma's financial data and to assist with general accounting duties. The is the ideal role for someone who is ACCA part qualified or a finance graduate seeking a challenge. Please note, the office location is currently Marlow but will be relocating to Maidenhead by December 2019 The role: Monthly balance sheet reconciliations. Monthly transactional analysis. Management of Fixed Asset schedule and posting of depreciation to management accounts. Update weekly cashflow with actual balances. Posting of provisions to time recording system for unmanaged codes. Production of the missing time sheet reporting and liaising with Finance Director to ensure time posted to time recording system. Production of monthly Budget holder reports. Management of disbursement recharges and analysis. Monthly bank reconciliations. Completion of government surveys. Adhoc administration tasks. Bi-annually upload of agreed budget and forecast detailed P&L to finance system. Monthly sickness report for HR. Holiday cover for the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable function. Adhoc reporting as required by Finance Director and Head of Finance. Assisting Management Accountant as required. About you: Good standard of general education with passes in GCSE English and Maths. ACCA part qualified or graduate level finance degree. Excellent excel skills. Effective use of other IT software Word, Outlook. Professional manner including good communication, interpersonal & telephone skills.
