Job Description As a Graduate Assistant Management Accountant you'll be working for a growing and dynamic SME that will offer you excellent hands-on and commercial experience. This role also provides excellent opportunities to learn and develop. You'll need a good understanding of accounts and have excellent analytical skills. Accounting
Responsibilities:
Creation and posting of accruals, prepayments and other accounting journals. Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and review of the balances. Maintenance of fixed assets registers. Assisting with the creation of monthly management accounts, through to commentary and board pack. Reconciliation of Sales, WIP and Applications at month-end. Provision of ad hoc management information to director and heads of divisions. Assisting budget holders in controlling spend. Contributing to the budget process and the monthly forecasting. Analysis
Responsibilities:
Weekly and monthly sales reporting. Margin analysis by division and project to ensure accurate reporting to support the company's management in business decision-making. Personal Qualities: High level of commercial business acumen. Commercially focussed with an ability to translate and communicate data & financials into operational scenarios. Passion for continuous improvement & drive to produce business results. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders. Analytical and inquisitive. Self-starter and pro-active. Qualifications/Experience: Graduate or studying level 4 AAT or similar. Experience with Sage. Advanced Excel
