Trainee Bookkeeper, Chelmsford Hours: Full-time (part-time hours negotiable)

Salary:
£12,000 - £16,000 (based on experience) Our client is a well-established firm of Chartered Accountants who are based in Chelmsford and have been operating for over 65 years. They are offering a training opportunity to a hard-working, enthusiastic candidate, to achieve a foundation level accountancy qualification whilst working in their bookkeeping department. The role will require a hands-on approach, assisting in providing monthly bookkeeping services for clients, which will include the production of quarterly VAT returns and management accounts. Good communication skills are essential for regular client contact and team development. Our client values the importance of providing a professional bookkeeping service and are looking for a candidate with an interest in accountancy and a strong work ethic. The position offered is full-time or part-time, with study leave available for tuition and exams.
