The successful candidate will be responsible for producing audit files for review, acting as a mentor for junior team members including carrying out performance assessments, day to day supervising and training, as well as supervising them at client's premises. You will using a computerised audit system and carrying out review work on assignments prepared by team members, aiming to achieve or exceed the budgeted fees and profits. You will help build and maintain successful relationships with clients and provide ongoing critiques of, and improvements to, the auditing process. Main Duties & Responsibilities Conduct audits, primarily out of the office Produce audit files for review Carry out review work on audits and accounts jobs prepared by colleagues Act as mentor for junior team members and provide day to day training Supervise junior team members in the office and at clients' premises and provide assistance as required Conduct assignment and performance reviews Anticipate and overcome difficulties on audits and larger accounts jobs Build and maintain successful relationships with clients Identify and suggest improvements to audit and accounting processes Requirements Knowledge, Skills & Experience Qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA), or qualified by experience A good level of audit experience, gained in a practice environment Experience of completing audit and accounts work for a variety of business entities Possess a high level of technical knowledge combined with excellent commercial awareness Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to the audience Proficient in the use of computerised audit and accounting systems Very good IT skills Ability to identify commercial and professional risks and ensure these are managed effectively Ability to work on own initiative with a proactive approach to work Project a professional manner and appearance at all times Dependable and reliable team player Track record of successfully managing, motivating and leading junior staff on assignments Ability to delegate effectively
