Hays Accountancy & Finance are currently recruiting for a market leading and growing online business based in Leominster, Herefordshire for a driven and dynamic Management Accountant. A great opportunity where you can join a fast-paced finance team, reporting directly to the Finance Manager and support in a variety of accounting tasks across the business. Your new role

Your key duties will involve supporting the Finance Manager in the timely and accurate preparation/production of monthly management accounts, assisting in the preparation of financial statements and year-end audit along with variance analysis and commentary for stakeholders. You will assist in the implementation of new finance systems, prepare intrastate and UK/EU VAT returns along with supporting the preparation of annual budgets/forecasts. You will develop reports to provide financial information to the wider business, proactively assist in improving processes/systems along with cash flow analysis, monthly cost reviews, bank reconciliations and payment processing.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this varied and progressive Management Accountant role you will have experience within a similar finance role, strong analytical problem-solving skills and be a professional self-starter with ambition to develop in your finance career. You will be part-qualified AAT/ACCA/CIMA, be able to work towards deadlines and explain financial information to the wider business. You will need strong communication to skills to build internal/external relationships along with strong MS Excel and system skills. Any experience within the online retail sector would be advantageous but not essential.
