If you're inspired to join us, and have the necessary qualities, then this could be the opportunity you've been looking for The Role: The Strategic Partnerships team within Customer Savings and Investments is focused on ensuring that M&GPrudential secures a supply chain that delivers great service to it's customers at the lowest possible cost. As a Commercial Analyst you will enable high quality decision making within the Strategic partnerships team. Using a combination of detailed analysis, an understanding of M&GPrudential's needs and the market place you will enable decisions including whether to make or buy, supplier selection, change requests and renewal decisions. Day to day responsibilities will include supporting Commercial Contract Managers effectively manage and improve our existing supplier relationships. Key

Responsibilities:
Provide analytical and advisory support on commercial contracts with outsource providers Help the leadership team make good sourcing decisions Seek out opportunities to optimise the supply chain Maintain the governance requirements for the Commercial Management area Work collaboratively with colleagues and take personal accountability to maintain and enhance controls you are responsible for to support improvement of the overall control environment, customers outcomes and a reduction in Prudential UK's operational risk To succeed in this role you will have an analytical mind-set, complex problem solving skills, excellent attention to detail and experience in the following: Analysis tools and techniques (excel) Financial modelling and business case generation Risk management/ risk analysis Procurement processes and practices Working with outsourced providers Financial and commercial management Ideally a degree in a numerical subject such as Maths or Economics, a relevant professional qualification (Six Sigma, PRINCE2 etc) or a Management of risk qualification People who work at M&G Prudential agree that ours is a great place to work with a brilliant team spirit.
