A cloud based financial company are looking for a Global Accounts Receivable Senior Manager. This position will oversee the Global collections staff to provide policy and procedure guidance to the worldwide accounts receivable team and its performing functions related to collections, general accounting, following the companies policies and laws. This position requires working closely with internal and external customers to maximise sales and cash flow whilst minimising bad debt write off. It also requires thorough management of the accounting process for bankruptcies. The Accounts Receivable department are located in. The USA, UK, Singapore and Brazil. This position will directly manage the global team on policy and collections matters.

Responsibilities:
Manage a team of collections Managers and the global teams to oversee the performance of collections, customer account reconciliations, bad debt reconciliation and credit evaluation. Provide support to all Accounts from an accounts receivable perspective following all the correct procedures. Implement effective credit and collections policies to support growth, working with customers, billing operations and sales teams. Interact with customers to negotiate settlements and set up payment plans. Organise and manage the process of accounting for bankruptcies following all the correct procedures. Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and training of all associates Responsible for planning, assigning and directing work, rewarding giving guidance as well as addressing complaints. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in accounting or business or its equivalent Broad business knowledge with extensive experience in accounts receivable management, including a working knowledge of accounting principles and practices Experience optimising customer payment process in high growth software or SaaS setting with various locations, currencies and global customer base. Strong leadership skills 7 years of supervisory or management experience of a global team. Ability to train and develop staff Strong systems skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, CRM or ERP. Familiar with general analysis, trends, journal entries and flow of A/R transaction to the general ledger. French and German language skills are desirable.
