Accountant Job in High Wycombe, up to £34,000, with study support

You will be working as a Trainee Accountant who a growing company based in High Wycombe.

Your new role

You will be working as a Trainee Accountant, alongside a Finance Manager, working on a variation of duties, with increasing responsibilities. You will take on the accounts payable and accounts receivable duties, processing all invoices, expenses and payments, as well as reducing aged debt and maintaining key client and customer relationships. Bank reconciliations are also part of this role. This role takes on increasing responsibility as you progress, therefore you will assist with month end duties, preparing the management accounts, assisting with budgets and forecasts and be forward thinking to improve processes.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role you will be working toward an accounting qualification or be a graduate to relevant experience to the role. You will be ambitious, keen to progress, have the determination to study, and be forward thinking. This role will work closely with your line manager, but you will also need the ability to work well on your own initiative. To be successful you will also have strong excel skills and be confident with accounting systems.
