Job Details
The Management Accountant will be responsible for the completion of the management and group accounts and supporting the Financial Reporting Manager with statutory and other required internal and external reporting, ensuring the accuracy of reporting. Responsible for managing 1 direct report.

A leading retailer and wholesaler, predominantly based in the UK but also with an International presence. Based in Leeds City Centre.
Description
The Management Accountant will be responsible for:
- Production of the Management Accounts Information
- Working with the cost centre managers/budget holders to ensure all costs are allocated correctly and key variances understood
- Assisting with the year-end reporting and quarterly reporting
- Completion of tax packs
- Acting as a system administrator for the various systems in the business
- Support with the collation and review of information for the budgets and forecasts
- Actively review controls and processes relevant to the department that require development and to implement change where necessary
- Responsibility for one direct report
Profile
The successful Management Accountant will be:
- Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA)
- Experience in a busy finance team
- Strong attention to detail and critical self-review
- Experience working in a team
- Strong Communicator, both internal & external
- Ability to understand the importance of change with also confidence to make changes
- Organised & able to prioritise
- Problem solver - can work on their own initiative to solve issues
- Ability to challenge and influence at all levels of the business
- Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
- Enthusiastic approach
