Perm Credit Controller for the automotive industry located in South East Essex

Your new company
A business linked with the automotive industry that has been expanding a network of UK sites. The company predominantly focuses on the scrappage and salvage of vehicles and are now hiring a new member to join their finance team. Due to a recent illness they now have a new and exciting opportunity for a Credit Controller. The company has grown over the years as they now employ thousands of people across several hundred sites.

Your new role
You will be reporting to the Financial Controller and responsible for the following:
Help build and maintain relationships with clients and to discuss and agree payments of their outstanding debts. You will be liaising with colleagues from all areas of the business to handle and resolve the queries of the clients. You will be focusing on the preparation of weekly outstanding debtor reports and weekly invoice reports to clients, and the production of spreadsheets summarising company debtors. You'll be expected to prepare and reconcile outstanding receivable schedules monthly for clients. You will be reporting to senior management including the commercial director and finance director in respect to problem accounts.

What you'll need to succeed
Suitable candidates must have experience using Microsoft Excel. It is imperative you have excellent customer service and communication skills. You must be friendly and approachable, self-motivated, and adaptable. You will be organised, resilient, and be able to prioritise your workload. Knowledge or experience with SAGE 200 would be desirable.
