NRG is working exclusively with a global client, with an opportunity for a Management Accountant based in their Head Office in North Tyneside. Reporting into the Senior Management Accountant, the purpose of this role is ensure the effective management of the accounting, reporting, legal and tax affairs of a number of legal entities within the group. Main duties: For several legal entities: Take ownership & control of the Balance Sheet and P&Ls of assigned entities Maintain strong knowledge of the financial performance of assigned entities Manage timely and accurate submission of monthly reporting packs Ensure robust financial controls continuously in place, including balance sheet reconciliations. Ensure statutory, legal and tax compliance, leading relationships with professional advisers - tax, audit, legal. Support monthly and annual forecasting and planning processes Work with transactional team to ensure process compliance and enhancements where possible. Support assigned SG&A functions in Business Partner role Support Accounting Manager, European Commercial and Operations Controller and European CFO as required Ideally you will be: Highly numerate, articulate and professional, with an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and track record of gaining good understanding of ERP systems. Fully ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified Experienced in working with a variety of stakeholders and understanding of working in complex businesses. Experience in Practice would be great Interested?
