Our client is based in a rural location just outside of Basingstoke, Hampshire. The business distribute an extremely exciting range of products and due to growth they have an additional requirement in their finance department. The role reports to the Head of Finance and the main duties will be - Maintaining and updating accounting records, filing systems and computer files Supplier statement reconciliations Preparation of statutory payments Raising invoices to clients in respect of rechargeable expenses Generating appropriate journals to reflect payroll, prepayments and accrual transactions Maintaining balance sheet reconciliations for key accounts and preparing analysis schedules for key P&L accounts Assist with the preparation of quarterly VAT returns Liaising with Auditors regarding schedules and reconciliation The ideal candidate will be available to start at short notice and will have previous experience in a similar role. You will have an open and friendly approach along with excellent IT and Excel skills. The business is initially offering this position on a contract basis but could become permanent due to further growth. The business offers a very vibrant environment, an excellent benefits package.
