Ensure that the company complies with external regulations, internal procedures, policies and established control protocols by: Performing internal controls within the group, and more specifically on the UK Branch. Develop an in-depth understanding of the different Brokering desks and supporting areas of the London Branch to perform an active monitoring. Perform Ad-hoc controls on request of management. Contribute to the Internal Control framework by recommending and deploying new controls on an ongoing basis based on adjustments of existing activities and implementation of new activities. Gather, examine and process information from several sources and turning them into streamlined monthly reports. Present summarised findings concerning control results and trends to the team. Preserve information as evidence for audits and controls in an organised fashion. Ensure completion and regular update of the desk procedures. Complete Standard paperwork and questionnaire to confirm internal controls. Assist on special assignments (e.g. fraud investigations, effectiveness reviews, incident investigations) as and when required. Profile Ability to work autonomously Proven high research skills Knowledge/Experience in UK Financial Services. Brokerage knowledge is highly advantageous. Knowledge of UK and European regulation (e.g. Mifid II) highly desirable. Degree Educated. Advanced fluent English and Working knowledge of French would be advantageous. Strong team player and able to use own initiative with good communication skills. Attention to detail, able to carry out multiple tasks with speed and accuracy . The successful candidate will work within an international team and will have the opportunity to develop and master their analytic, research and interpersonal skills.
