Head of Finance - Fast Growth PE Backed Online Marketplace
The Client:
Harmonic are proud to be working with a hyper growth online marketplace who are searching for a Head of Finance, reporting directly to the CFO. The client has had over £10m investment from some of the most impressive PE Funds and are now looking for a Head of Finance to join the ever expanding team. Our Client are very non-corporate and have a relaxed approach to a work/life balance. They have a fantastic office space located in central London where other impressive start-ups are located. Their company culture is very typical of a London Tech start-up with a hard working ethic accompanied by a good social culture. The Role: Due to the growth of the company they are looking to bring in a head of Finance that will be able to oversee and take full ownership of the finance function. Duties day to day: Full responsibility for the management of the Finance function Establishing robust financial controls and efficient monthly close process Managing a team responsible to produce management accounts, annual reporting and AP/AR Work with Tech teams to drive efficiency and automation Business Partner with the CEO and CFO providing detailed and insightful Analysis and driving a Forecasting & Planning cycle Implementing a Budgeting procedure ensuring that Finance becomes integral to decision Implementing best practice and developing a talented team Production of effective KPI Reporting metrics and financial models What we need to see (Essential) Technically Strong Accounting Background (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) Able to build Finance processes from scratch Commercially Astute Keen to work in a fast-paced Scale up Excellent communication skills and ability to Partner C-Level stakeholders What we'd like to see (Not Essential) Worked in a Software Start-Up/Scale up Worked with VC or PE Investors
