Senior Purchase Ledger Assistant - Kempston Site, Bedfordshire Processing of Purchase Invoices and maintaining the Purchase Ledger within a large Electronics manufacturing company. Our client is a long-established electronics manufacturing services (EMS) provider that employs more than 400 people with a turnover exceeding £40million. They take great pride in providing a range of high complexity industrial electronics products and outsourced manufacturing solutions for worldwide clients in a range of industries. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Purchase Ledger Assistant to be responsible for the processing of a high volume of Purchase Invoices together with resolving invoice queries, reconciling supplier statements, supplier liaison and day to day admin duties within an awesome and dedicated team, based at the Kempston offices. This is an exciting fast paced environment which varies every day, but it's also a challenging role which requires commitment and dedication and good attention to detail. Your key responsibilities and duties in this role will include: To ensure that all Purchase Ledger transactions are completed to meet period end targets. Responsible for supplier statement reconciliations To ensure the accurate and timely payment of suppliers for all UK companies. Setting up and maintaining Supplier Accounts on the system Resolving supplier Invoice queries Supplier Liaison Providing reports as required (e.g. disputes, turnover) Intrastat - Ensuring all information accurately recorded for monthly reporting Czech VAT Purchases - Ensuring all information accurately recorded Reconcile EC Purchases to Intrastat arrivals Continuously improve and develop processes and procedures Day to Day admin - Answering the telephone, filing, photocopying.
