Accounts Payable Analyst - German Speaking Based out of Whitbread Court, Dunstable Up to £30,000pa DOE plus excellent benefits and up to 10% bonus The Role This is an excellent opportunity for a keen Accounts Payable professional with fluent German to join one of the UK's leading hospitality providers, Whitbread PLC. Accounts Payable is a critical element of our Finance Shared Services team that supports the activity of our FTSE 100 business. This role will utilise your fluent German language skills (written and spoken) to fully support our growing German estate and undertake the processing of invoices, making payments to suppliers, handling supplier queries and reconciling supplier statements. What will you be doing Ensuring 100% accurate communications - both via email and over the phone - in German and English Validate and approve invoices; identifying any errors, resolving issues and processing for payment Manage and process any advance payments; ensuring correct approvals are in place Liaise effectively with internal departments regarding price differences or quantity difference queries Liaise with 3 rd parties to assist with complex invoices Complete supplier statement reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations Why we would love you to apply Fluent German language skills are essential for this role Previous work experience within an AP dept (ideally a shared service centre) is highly desirable and will ensure your application is prioritised A professional manner when dealing with stakeholders in Germany, internal department in the UK and external 3 rd parties will ensure you hit the right tone when building relationships Confidence to learn new IT systems alongside strong existing Excel skills Highly numerate and highly organised A bit about us: Premier Inn is the UK's largest hotel chain and is part of the UK's leading hospitality company in the FTSE100, Whitbread PLC.
