An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a fast-growing and prestigious company specialising in the construction industry, based at their offices in Exeter. Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the following: Processing of all invoices ensuring correct authorisation and coding. Reconciliation of supplier statements. Checking, coding and processing of company expense claims. Processing of payment runs and supplier payments. Production of customer invoices. Bank reconciliation. Completion of balance sheet reconciliations. Other ad hoc tasks as required. In order to be successfully considered, you must have the following: Previous experience of working in a purchase ledger role, ideally in the construction industry with a strong working knowledge of CIS. AAT qualification, or at least have completed AAT level 3. Excellent communication skills. An ability to work effectively as part of a small and energetic finance team, as well as being able to work autonomously.
