Our client based in Northallerton is looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger clerk to join their small accounts team. They are ideally looking for someone with previous experience but if you have administrative experience and looking for your first role within finance then this may be the role for you. Duties will include: Full responsibility for Purchase Ledger function Coding and posting of purchase invoices Obtaining Manager's authorisation of invoices Liaising with Line Managers on queries Preparation of supplier payments (incl monthly BACS run) Supplier Statement Reconciliations Reconciliation of invoices to purchase orders Dealing with queries with supplier Journals and Contra postings Cashbook payments Answering incoming calls in the absence of the receptionist They are seeking a bright and enthusaistic individual who is a team player and able to work on your own initiative. You will be able to build good relationships with suppliers and have a confident and firm communication style. An excellent opportunity to join an established brand.
