I am seeking a Purchase Ledger Clerk based on the outskirts of Peterborough, therefore access to a car will be needed. This is for a temporary position until the end of August 2019. You will be expected to perform any of the following tasks: Process invoices, reconciling delivery notes to invoices received and purchase orders Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details within the purchase ledger Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements Assist in the preparation of purchase summaries Process business expense returns Cashbook and petty cash cheques Processing BACS payments and preparing cheques We are looking for a candidate who can hit the ground running and has proven experience in a similar role, other key skills required may include include: Bookkeeping experience Great interpersonal and communications skills Self discipline Good team working skills The ability to work to monthly deadlines An aptitude for IT - knowledge of software packages like Excel, Sage and BACS Please contact Jenny at or call .
