Financial Controller Finance - Head Office, Alloa £40,000 - £45,000 pro rata 1 Year Fixed Term Contract - 30-37 hours per week Our client is an organisation dedicated to enriching the lives of people with autism. The Finance & Corporate Affairs department is responsible for ensuring Financial, Information Technology, Procurement, Property, Fundraising and Marketing operations support and enhance the effective delivery of our client's mission to enable people to lead happy, healthy and fulfilling ; The role of the Finance Team is to provide proactive and effective support and information to stakeholders across the charity and beyond, based on the delivery of accurate and timely financial reporting and the maintenance of a robust financial controls and compliance framework. The team works collaboratively with all its stakeholders, actively looking for opportunities to improve its delivery of financial reporting, know-how, analysis and insight to support the organisation's delivery of financial sustainability, performance targets and outstanding ; Our client is looking for a motivated and experienced Financial Controller to join the Finance Team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Financial Controller will have direct management responsibility for a team of three who in turn manage a wider ; In this role you will: - Lead the financial accounting and payroll team in a highly diverse, complex and deadline driven environment; - Establish and develop collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders across the business; - Maintain responsibility for a robust financial control and compliance framework; - Support business areas in providing value for money in the services our client delivers through the provision of timely financial reporting and robust forecasting to influence ; The successful candidate will be: - An experienced manager with strong people management and development skills - An excellent communicator with the ability to build credibility across all levels of the organisation and to distil complex technical information into clear simple messages - Customer focused - Strong in influencing senior management - Collaborative in your approach to working - Highly analytical - Proven in your ability to prioritise work, work under pressure and operate to tight deadlines - Highly motivated and adaptable - Able to manage multiple complex projects and processes simultaneously You will be a fully qualified Accountant or be qualified by experience and be able to demonstrate experience in a similar role. You will have substantial experience of managing and developing a team of finance staff.
