Hays Senior Finance are working on an exclusive basis with this SME, based in Warwick, to recruit a Management Accountant.

Your new role
You will be responsible for preparing Monthly accounts from trial balance, including the preparation of VAT and Intrastat statements. Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will provide general support and reports to the Finance Manager and/or Managing Director as required.

This is an all round SME Management Accountant role, so you will be very hands on. You are also responsible for the accounts payable, including some invoice processing and payments, daily bank transactions and reconciliation of all bank accounts, including reporting to Head Office. You will also be responsible for expenses, maintaining and reconciling the records of orders, sales and submission of monthly analyses to Head Office, accruals and prepayments and controlling and reconciling all Balance Sheet and P&L items.

What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally be studying for an accountancy qualification, preferably CIMA, or fully qualified, and have the experience and ability to work within a confidential area. You will have a high degree of computer literacy - knowledge of Microsoft PC applications (Word, Excel) and an Accountancy System similar to SAP.

What you'll get in return
You will receive an annual salary of Circa £40,000 dependant on experience, full study support package, Life Assurance, DIS x 4, Pension, Private Health Care, flexible working including occasional home working, standard working hours are 8:30 - 4:30pm Monday to Friday.
