Responsible for overseeing a medium sized team, you will focus on the management of the AP process, whilst also identifying process improvements, assisting with EDI implementation and managing team KPI's. As an Accounts Payable Manager, your responsibilities will include: Overseeing and managing the staff within the AP team Ensuring that the AP process is carried out effectively and efficiently in line with company SLAs Ensuring that KPIs are being hit consistently by all members of team Identifying potential areas of improvement Help to produce and verify the Company's quarterly VAT returns Produce quarterly Intrastat analysis and submissions Providing expertise to the AP team and acting as a point of escalation where necessary Achieving an excellent level of customer service Managing projects and assisting with EDI implementation As an Accounts Payable Manager, you will have/be: Previous experience of leading an AP function Strong experience using a large ERP system (ideally Oracle or SAP) Experience within an EDI implementation would be desirable Strong communication skills - both written and verbal Good knowledge of VAT, Duty and Intrastat Excellent people management experience and the ability to adapt to a variety of stakeholders This is a great opportunity for an ambitious Accounts Payable Manager or Supervisor to step up and join reputable business at a period of growth and change.
