Finance Manager- Lochgoilhead To provide support in the timely preparation of management accounts and assist with other areas of the department. Reports to the Group Finance Director. Key
Responsibilities:
Support in the preparation of monthly and year end Management Accounts, with variance analysis Maintenance, reconciliation, and (if required) adjustments of General Ledger accounts Preparation of Farm Accounts Reconciliation of bank accounts Bank payments and receipts processing Preparation of prepayments and accruals Reconciliation of petty cash, debtors / creditors control accounts and intercompany accounts Sales invoicing VAT returns Produce Management Information and reports as required for business performance monitoring Interrogating all Finance and IT functions, documenting processes and building the procedures manual Job Costing and Analysis Support in the preparation of Annual Budgets for all Cost Centres within the Argyll Holidays Group. Periodic update of Financial Models and the running of sensitivities on an adhoc basis Perform any other duties as required to ensure the successful and efficient running of the Department Education, Training & Experience: Computer literate with a strong knowledge of excel (and Navision preferential) Previous experience in a similar role Disposition & requirements: Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines Strong attention to detail and administrative skills Excellent communication and people skills Self motivated with the ability to work unsupervised Enthusiastic with a 'can do' attitude Interested in this role?
