SG Financial Recruitment are currently working with a large building solutions company based in the East Hull Villages. This company is looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk who can join them on a temporary basis for a period of at least 9 months. As the Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will report to the Financial Controller and work alongside a team of likeminded individuals. You will be responsible for:
• Process Purchase Ledger Invoices
• Resolving a high volume of queries in relation to disputes invoices and escalate queries
• Prioritising the payment of certain key suppliers or processing certain invoices
• Ensuring post purchase invoices / credit notes are matched to PO's.
• Planning of monthly payment runs ensuring all suppliers are paid on time To be the successful Purchase Ledger Controller, you must have;
• Experience of working in a busy environment and the ability to prioritise your workload
• Demonstrate excellent organisation skills
• Practical experience of working in a purchase ledger environment.
• Educated to GCSE level with grade C in Maths and English
• Knowledge of Construction Industry Scheme.
