Interaction Accountancy & Finance are currently working with a Bedfordshire based manufacturing organisation who are accounting professional who is eager to fully immerse themselves in a Group entity that spans across Europe, gaining a full understanding of the organisations accounting procedures, performing multiple accounting and reporting requirements. Duties will include but not be limited to:
• Assist the Finance Director with production and presentation of the management accounts and group reporting pack to a strict timetable
• Assisting with annual budget and bi annual forecast preparation providing accurate margin analysis
• Maintain the standard costing system, to include calculation of overhead absorption rates
• Inventory control
• Interrogation of material costs and margins, and variance analysis
• Assisting with the annual audit To be considered for this vacancy you will need:
• Ideally to be studying via ACCA, CIMA or ACA, latter stages or qualified.
• Will have had experience within a manufacturing environment
• Strong system skills to include Excel and ERP packages such as SAP
• Self-motivated individual with the ability to work as part of a close team.
