NRG is delighted to be working with a leading charitable organisation in Sunderland. Reporting into the Director of Finance, you will head up both the operational and transactional Finance function. Main duties of the role involve:
• Manage a small, diverse team - providing coaching and support continuously.
• Meet all financial requirements working at a senior level, providing sound financial advice.
• Manage month end close across all business entities, review process improvement within team and business function, provide robust technical financial advice and guidance to a range of senior stakeholders This is a fantastic opportunity for a suitably experienced and qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) to join the charity at an exciting, developing, growing time You will have full responsibility for the financial requirements of this dynamic, exciting and thriving group of charitable (not for profit) organisations. This is a permanent, full time opportunity, ideally you will have experience of producing statutory accounts for not for profit organisations. Sage 200 accounting system knowledge is also advantageous. This role would suit a Part Qualified or Qualfiied Accountant with a solid, hands-on experience of coaching and upskilling staff and a proven track record of embedding a high performing culture. Also needed to be successful in the role are excellent IT skills, experience of preparing monthly and annual financial accounts, budget preparation and forecasting as well as dealing with external reporting requirements will also be required.
