Pertemps are currently working with a client who are expanding and have a requirement for a Part Qualified Accountant to join their team. This is a fantastic time to join the company. Key duties include; Work closely with management accountant and Financial Controller to ensure department deadlines and targets are met. Month end assistance with preparation of management accounts Responsible for preparing and posting month end journals to tight deadlines Posting and reconciling accruals & prepayments Assistance with VAT returns Reconciling balance sheet accounts Reconcile and control WIP Balance sheet accounts Respond to requests for information and analysis from operations colleagues Assist with preparation of audit files and liaison with external auditors. Skills required include; Part qualified and active studier (ACCA, CIMA or CA) with experience gained in a busy finance department Ability to work to deadlines Good interpersonal skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel Pertemps acts as both an employment business and an employment agency.
