Do you have an interest in commercial real estate? Wilkinson and Associates are currently working in partnership with a successful investment management business based in Stirling. This role will provide an excellent grounding in asset management for those looking to further their knowledge in the investment lifecycle. Our client is seeking a qualified accountant to join its finance team in a newly created role, driven by business growth. Supporting the senior finance team, with coaching and oversight responsibility for trainee accountants in their delivery of a range of financial analysis and reporting. You will be actively involved in a range of duties and responsibilities at the heart of their business as it looks to continue it's growth and to expand their offering. The position is ideally pitched at a recently qualified accountant looking to further their career or candidates with slightly more experience keen for a new challenge. This would be an excellent first role for applicants making their first move out of practice and those from that background will be considered. Summary of role: Preparation and analysis of quarterly consolidated management accounts and associated Stock Exchange reporting. Ensuring regular tax and compliance returns are prepared and submitted for review. Supervision of finance team administrative tasks (petty cash, expense claims, ledger maintenance) Being a point of contact with a range of advisers, such as auditors and tax advisers, to facilitate the preparation of group and subsidiary financial statements. Quarterly reporting to lenders, including monitoring and analysis of lending covenant positions. Preparing and analysing management information for senior management, investors and quarterly Board meetings. Business forecasting and variance analysis. Preparation and collation of quarterly Board packs and Audit Committee papers. Research and coordination on investor relations and queries. Company secretarial/governance/NED Board management support To be considered for the role you will be / have: Qualified accountant. Attention to detail, strong numeracy, verbal and written communication. An ability to work independently and contribute positively in a team environment. Track record of identifying and implementing improvements. Comfortable working in a feedback culture with an ambition to develop skills and experience.
