Accounts Payable Manager Search Consultancy is currently recruiting for an exciting new Opportunity in Fife. The role on offer is for an AP Manager to join a respected manufacturing business. As a key member of the Finance team, you will be responsible for leading and delivering the Accounts Payable function of the business, along with responsibility for a leading and developing a small team. The role is highly visible across the business and requires close liaison with core finance staff, procurement, accounts receivable and senior management on a day to day basis. In order to be successful in this role you will have a hands-on and direct approach to your work and be driven to improve and create efficiency within your remit. You will have a high degree of autonomy within the role and will be given the responsibility to grow the Accounts Payable function as the role develops. Key responsibilities include: Full ownership of the AP function Working to month-end reporting deadlines Producing and maintaining reports for management weekly Managing the inter-company settlements and statements processes Maintain and enforce the financial controls environment for AP. Identify areas for improvement and systems development Management of supplier costs, works with strategic sourcing to identify cost saving areas and opportunities for further improvement.
