Finance Analyst - Spanish speaker (Internally known as Senior Reconciliations Analyst) 12 month Fixed Term Contract (with potential to extend). We have an excellent opportunity in our Glasgow office for a Finance/ Reconciliations Analyst to join our Finance team where you are responsible for supporting the day to day management of accounts reconciliations, reconciliation reviews, clearance of reconciliations and where we encourage you suggest & implement business operational improvements. Due to an ongoing Global Finance Transformation Project, we expect the Glasgow team to grow and international business travel will be a necessity as part of this role, particularly to countries in Latin America, Central America and EMEA. Key

responsibilities:
You have responsibility for Balance Sheet Reconciliations on various Accounts. You will review and clear open items on balance sheet account reconciliations and ensure identification & processing of relevant bookings. We promote an environment where you will take ownership of each reconciliation, ensure resolution and drive out underlying issues with the balances. You have the task of ensuring commentary is provided on aged items. You will liaise with in country Finance teams, EXL (3rd party overseas support) and IT department. You should document the purpose of each account that you are working on. We will task you with supporting the identification of process efficiencies and their subsequent implementation You will produce associated Management Information as well as supporting external reporting up to the completion of appropriate audit file, including completion of relevant notes to the accounts as directed by line management. Required experience: You bring experience using V-lookups and pivot tables. Native or Fluent in Spanish and English You have proven experience in the creation and resolution of reconciliations on a balance sheet. You have previous experience in a similar financial role including balance sheet or general ledger reconciliations. Proven ability to work to tight deadlines and prior experience in analytical review of management information. Financial services or insurance experience is desirable What can you expect in return?
