CAME BPT UK are a constantly growing forward thinking company that has success and ambition at its heart and as a result, are seeking to recruit an Account Assistant to join the Accounts Team at our Midlands office in Castle Donington. The Role: We are looking for somebody who enjoys working to deadlines, has the knowledge to be able to reconcile, allocate and resolve queries. The successful applicant will need to be diligent, professional, efficient, reliable and committed, whilst consistently demonstrating a positive "can do" attitude. Experience in purchase / sales ledger and general accounting is preferred but not essential. Other aspects of the role will involve credit checking new customers, releasing orders when payments arrive and helping the accounts team with any ad hoc duties. This role requires competent PC skills with the ability to learn I.T. systems quickly, Excel experience is preferred. You must be able to work under pressure without compromising your attention to detail or quality of work. The applicant must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and be able to maintain consistently high standards of work. Key responsibilities include: Providing excellent customer service, to meet and exceed customers' requirements. Entering, managing and following up calls with customers whilst liaising with the sales team. Processing customers queries and requests quickly and efficiently. Consistently communicating courteously with customers by telephone and e mail in a polite, professional and positive manner. Assisting with account office duties and updating the Companies databases. Prioritise work flow to maximise time efficiency, to meet productivity and quality targets Chasing outstanding debts, when required.
