Skills, Capabilities and Attributes A qualified accountant (ACA preferred) with significant controllership and commercial experience. Strong view of best practice in running financial accounting functions (management accounting, transaction processing, working capital management, reporting). Experience working with Finance Shared Service Centres. Comfortable working within a complex and fast-moving organisation, and across a matrix structure. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information in a compelling way to a financial and non-financial audience to support effective decision-making. Confident enough to deputise for EQ Paymaster Finance Director when required, and to present information to Board Execs and other senior stakeholders. Financial modelling ability. Strong PC Skills - high level of proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Finance systems (Agresso and Workday would be advantageous).
