Finance Manager

• Location - Central London Are you an ambitious Finance Manager looking for your next challenge? We are currently seeking an experienced Finance Manager for this Global, blue-chip client as they expand their Finance function. This is a fast-paced, challenging environment offering an opportunity to work on varied tasks & responsibilities whilst also mentoring & coaching where required. Some key responsibilities Reporting to the Financial Controller, the experienced Finance Manager will
• Review & interpret all financial reporting requirements, rules & regulations
• Present accurate & timely reports on a Quarterly & annual basis
• Identify & drive all efficiencies in month-end & other processes & systems, ensuring high standards of accuracy
• Ensure full compliance with local country and Group accounting & Tax requirements & filing
• Reporting under US GAAP and preparing supporting information for SEC filing
• Liaise with other EU & Global finance functions as required
• Be the "go to" finance stakeholder in absence of the Financial Controller
• Mentor/coach junior members of the team About you You will be an experienced Finance Manager having held a similar role & responsibilities previously. In addition,
• You will be a fully qualified accountant
• Experience of accounting for European entities & knowledge of local reporting & tax requirements in EU jurisdictions
• Solid working knowledge of local EU GAAPs & FRS102 and/or IFRS
• Previous experience working with international multi-currency consolidations
• Highly organised with demonstrable experience of working & delivering to deadlines & timetables
• Experience in implementing ERP & accounting systems is highly desirable
• Experience using Oracle Cloud (or similar ERP) is highly desirable
