Assistant Accountant / Semi-Senior Accountant Dynamic, Delightful and Digitally Dependable Assistant Accountant /Semi-Senior Required for Accountancy Practice in Bourne End, Bucks Our client is a small and friendly Accountancy and Bookkeeping Practice. They're growing and are now ready to add an experienced, Assistant accountant / Semi Senior Accountant to their team. Do you like to Proactively communicate with colleagues and clients? Be open and honest and prepared to admit your mistakes - we all make them Key Skills & Experience: It also goes without saying that you should Have an eye for detail and be able to work quickly and accurately Have excellent computer skills (Familiarity with Quickbooks and TaxCalc is an advantage) Have Level 4 Bookkeeping or Accounting (or equivalent experience) If this is you, you'll be based at our client's office in Bourne End, Bucks, and have responsibility for a number of different client accounts. They are a small team, and it is really important that any addition to the team is able to fit in with their ethos and priorities. Whilst they digitise and automate as much as possible, the personal relationships with their clients is the key to their success. Key Roles &

Responsibilities:
You know this bit already, but duties will include: Managing your own client portfolio Preparation of Management Reports for Client review Preparation of statutory accounts and tax returns Preparation of self-assessment tax returns Processing of data into Clients' accounts from both manual and automated sources Bank reconciliations Preparation and submission of VAT returns Preparation of Accounts to Trial Balance, including Prepayments, Accruals and Depreciation Other duties as may from time to time become necessary The Stuff you really want to know:

Salary:
£28,000 - £32,000 depending on experience. Benefits: Pension, Childcare and Study Package available. Type of role: Employed, but could be full time, part time or job share if you are the right fit for our team.
