Job Title - Assistant Management Accountant Location - Basingstoke Rates - Up To £196.02 per day (PAYE) - Up To £219.68 per day (LTD/Umbrella) This role is In Scope of IR35 About the role / project: You will work with the Finance Manager and Management Accountant to provide a comprehensive financial and management accounting service to the Route's Works Delivery Function. The position does include a lot of analysis of data on Excel spreadsheets as well as data entry, entering journals and updating reports. The role will involve the following duties:- 1. Support the provision of consolidated results of business plans, results and forecasts. 2. Assist in the analysis of periodic financial performance of individual business units against objectives (including budgets and forecasts). 3. Prepare and distribute appropriate financial reports to budget holders to support financial control and aid performance management and target achievement. 4. Support the team as required, to deliver a comprehensive financial and management accounting service to the business areas. Your experience will include: - We are looking for an individual with excellent attention to detail and copious amounts of common sense. - Advanced Excel skills. - Accountancy qualified or part qualified.
