Finance Manager - Real Estate. Our Client is a private 'family office' who invest in and manage a range of properties across the country. Due to recent expansion and changes in the structure, they are looking to fill a newly created position of a Finance Manager to provide book-keeping and some other office admin support. The Role reporting to the Directors and managing the accounts for all group companies will involve the following duties: Preparing the management accounts. Preparing company budgets. Maintaining the cashbook. Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns and VAT reconciliation. Being responsible for the purchase and sales ledger, including raising of invoices and making payments. Analysing the cash spend. Performing monthly bank and credit card reconciliations. Undertaking quarterly actual vs budget variance analysis on expenditure. Reviewing property financial budgeting, reporting and loan compliance prepared by external property agents. Overseeing cashbooks, income/expenditure budgeting and reporting, rent demands for residential property clients. Finalising dividends and preparing necessary paperwork. Overseeing the preparation of Non-resident landlord UK income tax returns, reviewing, submitting to clients for approval, oversee bi-annual tax payments to HMRC. Overseeing the preparation of and reviewing annual client property company Annual Tax on Enveloped Dwellings tax returns for HMRC. Liaising with auditors and tax accountants for the preparation of audited financial statements and tax returns. Responsible for all banking matters to include setup of accounts, signatory, online banking. Overseeing the production of corporation tax computation and returns. Responsible for Payrolls by preparing P11ds, reviewing P45s & P60s, handling the pension submissions and compliance. Organising debtor control and cash collection. Preparing quarterly capital calls and associated bank transfer instruction to bank. Responsible for Company secretarial duties to include filing of Confirmation Statements with Companies House. Overseeing the annual renewal for the company benefits. Responsible for the office and property insurance matters. The Person MUST have a good, solid experience as a Bookkeeper, Management Accountant or Finance Manager and be least AAT qualified, part-qualified ACCA or CIMA. The ideal candidate will be a good team player and should be able to work well individually with minimal supervision. The incumbent must have good attention to detail and a methodical way of working.
