A rapidly expanding manufacturer based on the outskirts of Liverpool are currently looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their finance team and work alongside the Financial Controller. Responsibilities will include: Assisting with the production of the monthly management accounts Creating and posting monthly journals including accruals and prepayments Balance sheet reconciliations Assisting with stock valuations and costings Intercompany account reconciliations Variance analysis EC Sales, Intrastats and VAT Assisting in preparing cost centre budgets and forecasts Payment request processing Preparing annual audit packs My client is looking for applicants that have previous experience of carrying out the above tasks within a commercial working environment, is capable of liaising with non-finance figures and has genuine ambitions of becoming a qualified Management Accountant. You will be comfortable working on your own initiative and as part of a small team and will have excellent written, verbal and IT skills.
