Company A PE-Backed Fin-Tech organisation is currently recruiting the position of Senior Financial Accountant within their finance division reporting up into the Financial Controller. This role is based in the City of London, and they are seeking someone who is practice trained. This organisation is backed by a world renewed PE firm, raising over £40 million in funding they are looking to grow at a rapid rate. Role Preparation of year end Group consolidation, along with the review, investigation, and resolution of inter company variances, correct posting of accruals/prepayments. Preparation of annual Group and subsidiary (6) financial statements, including cash flow statement and associated disclosure notes in accordance with IFRS. Assist in the provision of information for tax purposes to external advisors and reviewing of tax computations. Liaise with Group auditors and assisting in management of the year end audit process. Assisting on the determination of the appropriate accounting for new share option plan under IFRS 2 Share Based Payments, including EBT accounting Assisting in the financial regulatory reporting (IFRS), evaluating and offering advice on any apparent changes resulting from new accounting standards on which include but not limited to: IFRS 15 Revenue from Contracts with Customers; IFRS 16 Leases; and FRS 9 Financial Instrument (accounting policy for debtors and accounting for loans and other debt instruments) Preparation of accounting papers to support financial regulatory changes that are required Assisting in Ad hoc projects You're profile This PE-Backed Fin-Tech organisation based in the city of London is seeking a qualified accountant coming from a practice background .The ideal person will have drive and passion to work within a fast moving sector. Salary and Package This PE-Backed Fin-Tech organisation based in the city of London is paying £50,000 -£55,000 basic salary, with bonus, 25 days holiday, pension and Bupa.
