Salary:
£28-35,000 - pa depending on experience plus study package. We are looking to recruit an Audit & Accounts Semi Senior to join a rapidly expanding team in North London. The successful candidate will provide complete and efficient support to the management team and the office Partners. This is a mixed role that includes undertaking audits, accounts preparation and basic tax work, both in the office and at client premises. Responsibilities Audit Complete whole sections of the audit pack in accordance with the firms procedures and occasionally on smaller jobs act as senior, delegate to juniors and complete the whole file including notes/queries for Partner/Director. Complete all substantive tests with minimal supervision, delegate some elements of testing to more junior members of staff where appropriate and design specific tests if appropriate Supervise more junior members of staff as appropriate, including checking their work and providing guidance as required Complete stock takes and write up detailed notes and results Involvement in planning the audit Complete audit reviews on juniors. Accounts Complete sets of accounts, working from source documents/records to final accounts for review by the appropriate Manager/Partner Prepare and work on a wide range of accounts including Trust accounts Input data into Caseware and/or Iris Analyse and reconcile VAT returns Prepare sales and purchase control accounts Calculate accruals and prepayments and supporting schedules Compute Corporation Tax using proprietary computer software. Qualifications ACA/ACCA Nearly Qualified Experience using IRIS, Caseware audit, Sage, Quickbooks, Xero and Excel software More info available upon application
