(More info at www.tinies.com) We are now looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our friendly central support team in Bracknell. The Accounts Assistant will support the administration and collection of fees, associated costs and charges to be paid by parents of children attending the Nurseries and Holiday Clubs. Duties/Areas of Responsibility Ensure the monthly fees are invoiced to parents Ensure the fees are collected by DD on the first working day of the month Registering all new DD's onto the Bacs system before the collection is due Producing the DD file and liaising with Nurseries to ensure that these are accurate Processing the DD file for collection with Bacs Maintaining financial records Updating the parent accounts on IConnect with all payments and receipts Ensure Sage is updated with payments and receipts and the Nursery bank accounts are reconciled on a weekly basis Administration of Holiday Clubs finances and reports Assist in the billing to clients for the holiday clubs Maintain and update the debtors accounts for Kew Ensure childcare vouchers have been released in line with the clubs Producing final debtors reports before the start of the clubs and issue to sites Responsibility of debtor management and debt collecting of outstanding fees Contacting outstanding debtors and advising them of amounts owed Issuing statements and formal notice letters Liaising on a regular basis with debt collection agency to resolve bad debts Maintain accurate financial record of company credit cards Credit cards are sent to the holders promptly at the start of each month All credit card expenses are authorised and signed off The transactions are inputted in to the accounting software accurately Provide support to the Tinies accounts function when required. Assisting with month and year end duties and any other ad hoc requirements. Skills/ Qualifications Our ideal candidate will be a team player with a 'can do' attitude. Someone who likes to work smarter, who will bring innovative ideas and great attention to detail.
