Are you an immediately available Financial Accountant/Finance Manager with great control skills and eager to work in a fun environment? My client, a fast paced organisation based in South Nottinghamshire, is looking for a strong accountant for a 14 month contract (maternity cover) to manage a team of three. With experience in strong reporting, you will have full control of the P&L account, helping with the working capital and cash flow of the business. This role is very dynamic and varied with every day bringing new tasks and goals to achieve. If you like and enjoy the buzz of a fast paced organisation, managing key suppliers, preparing statutory accounts at year end and helping lead the audit process, this role offers you that variety. You will input your own controls. As well as getting involved in month end reporting, you will be involved in statutory accounts, corporation tax, reconciliations and VAT. Reporting to the finance manager, you will also be assisting in the strength and development of the small but busy finance team. Ideally you will come from fast paced environments like retail, FMCG, manufacturing and have a flair for controls and processes, helping to streamline and make things run smoother and more efficient. You will hold accounting qualifications (ACA /ACCA/CIMA) with a practice experience background being highly desirable.
