Reed Finance are pleased to recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a construction company in Warrington. We are presently recruiting for an experience purchase ledger clerk to join a small accounts team to replace a long serving employee who is retiring at the beginning of June. This role will report direct to the Financial Controller Duties will include: Checking invoices/credit notes Ensure that all invoices/credit notes are approved by the relevant manager Matching purchase invoices to delivery notes and inputting purchase invoices onto bespoke software Reconciling purchase ledger on a monthly basis Producing supplier payment runs Processing weekly payroll for small number of labourers Processing subcontractor payment certificates and looking after the CIS Knowledge of a payroll process to support the finance manager Answering supplier calls Liaise with auditors where necessary Main Requirements: - Minimum of 5 years accounts experience - Knowledge of the contraction industry would be an advantage - Strong communication skills - High attention to detail In Return: - Attractive salary package - 20 days holiday bank holidays rising to 25 days after 12 months - Free parking - Bupa healthcare - Company life insurance My client is looking for CV's ASAP so to express interest please APPLY NOW to avoid disappointment If you would like further information in relation to this position please call me direct on or email over the most recent copy of your CV to
