Internal Quality and Standards Auditor (ISO, Audit) - Canary Wharf, London. A well-established multinational consultancy is looking for an articulate Compliance Manager to join its expanding team on an initial 7 month Fixed-Term contract to cover maternity leave. The successful capable Internal Auditor will drive forward the continual improvement of operational standards and compliance. In order to be suitable for this newly created role you must be an accomplished compliance professional, with consummate communication skills and a good understanding of ISO compliance, data privacy legislation (GDPR) and corporate governance. Working alongside the Head of Risk & Compliance you will manage the global internal audit schedule, ensuring that they meet the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001, and conceive, develop and implement a risk based auditing strategy. You will need to establish excellent working relationships with managers, helping to facilitate the implementation of standards. You will have a sound knowledge of all group management policies relating to Health and Safety, Environmental, Quality and Security. Key responsibilities will include: - Conducting risk assessments and maintaining ISO accreditation - Liaise with certification bodies to coordinate external audits - Working closely with the legal team to ensure that policies and procedures are aligned with legal obligations (eg bribery and corruption, modern slavery, data protection) You must have a good understanding of quality management systems, standards and regulations, with the ability to identify problem areas and make recommendations for alternative solutions. Communicating with all user groups internally, up to senior management level, you will need to have the ability to build relationships and trust across all levels of the business.
